The Genius of Photography ep1 pt4
i find it interesting how a shadow or specific lighting can compleltly change the mood of a photograph. This also reminds me of Yousuf Karsh and how he used specific lighting to create his photograph and how he went to the extent to use specific light just on hands. I also found it interesting how portraits have changed through time.

Sometimes I wonder if that time line assignment is a good one or not, but it's interesting to see some of it stuck with you. You know, they used to take portraits of the dead, especially if they never got around to it when the people were alive.
